I wouldn’t say it pinpoints that area. It’s more of a development study that designed to improve your picking technique and teach you basic and advanced theories. I try to parallel the piano in understanding music and most guitarists lack that. I’m not one to normally generalize but I teach a lot of students and very rarely do they come in with much harmony under their belt. Thanks for your interest….John
