Boom!!!?
January 28, 2012 - 6:54 am
Thank you mate, these lessons are the best way to learn the notes. I’ve tried many different methods including octave and learning string by string and before I watched these videos I knew the notes of the fretboard but not very well. It would take me a couple of seconds to locate a particular note, then even more time to find the same note on a different location. I now know them? instantly and have you to thank….
Your an absolute legend for making these videos!

My God!! I have spent the last 8 months learning the fret board via the octave? method. How so very tedious!! Your lesson, and method of teaching was/is a God send for me. I just turned 66 on Veterans Day, and began learning the guitar about 10 months ago, I played as a kid for a few years, then life got in the way. When I retired, I was determined to learn to play the guitar, not only because I love music, and that instrument, but also because it helps ward off “oldtimers” diseases.
January 28, 2012 - 10:52 am
Your? three-part series was really helpful, and you explained it very well, thanks.
January 28, 2012 - 11:29 am
@Cirqueduguitar HEY Cirque,
Thank you so much for making a simple process : ‘simple’.
Why do so many teachers make learning complex – (because they are
afraid of the student becoming a? better guitarist/musician faster than the teacher?
You’ve done a great service to new guitarists with these videos. Tx. G.
January 28, 2012 - 11:43 am
Hey Cirque ,
Thank you so much. I WAS frustrated learning the notes by half-step and
thought this was going to take? a long time, but then your method
is super ! Very clearly done, and simple.
Great to get the basics done , for more time to be Creative.
Tx. G.
