Wow,he’s pretty impressive. There were two weird things here.First, the guitar head.Second, his thumb nail (though I know it’s because of his fingerpicking stuff).

@bigamai humbuker give more attack for hi gain sound singels soun more tasty and smoth
November 27, 2011 - 7:42 pm
@bigamai Pickups first then neck. The pickups will eliminate most sound problems that your have, while as I’ve said before, only the neck’s joint will affect the sound majorly. I don’t know much about tremolos, and the few I have are single locking trems. I don’t usually prefer them, but it’s your guitar. Best of luck to you.
November 27, 2011 - 8:17 pm
@bigamai Depends, for rhythm, I love my three hum SG, but for lead, single coils rule.
November 27, 2011 - 8:47 pm
@ddazuulada i think the tuning is done at the bridge…
November 27, 2011 - 8:52 pm
Respond to this video… by the way, whats the best neck pickup?? single coils or humbuckers??
November 27, 2011 - 9:35 pm
@tonellojohni just cant decide on what to do first..is it better to change pickups first or is it better to change the neck first..and was wondering if a double locking tremolo would do me any good when it comes to sustains..
November 27, 2011 - 10:30 pm
@bigamai I love Strat copies, because they are perfect for modding. My best advice would be to get a humbucker in the bridge. A Seymour Duncan Invader or Dimebucker would be best., with an SH-6 Distortion in the neck. If you like to use a single coil for neck pups, I’d get a Hot for Strat SSL-3. Let me know how it works, and best of luck to you.

@commmy ppl who play with there fingers like to grow their nails out like that, and since he’s from nashville apperently i’d guess he likes a little country
November 28, 2011 - 12:56 am
@tonellojohn it does.. thanks man…i have this copy of a fender stratocaster and o be honest.. its shitty..but i cant get my self to replace it..because its kinda special to me..i learned almost everything i know on it..so im trying to improve it and rebuild it from the ground up..any more advice??
November 28, 2011 - 1:25 am
@bigamai The neck’s joint does. If it’s a bolt on, it will absorb some sustain, if it’s a set neck it’ll absorb less sustain (which is why Gibsons are so good for sustain), and if it a neck through, there will be even less absorbed, but in reality, it’s not the wood it’s how the body is connected to the neck. I have a friend who took two Burstbuckers from Gibson, bolted them to a 2×4 with two volume and tone knobs, added a bridge, and sounded just like a Les Paul. Hope this helps, good luck.
November 28, 2011 - 2:03 am
@tonellojohn how about the neck?? does it have anything to do with the guitar’s sound???
November 28, 2011 - 2:17 am
What’s with the demon finger nail?!?! o.O
November 28, 2011 - 2:42 am
@kjrody21 Other than looks, nothing really. At the same time, there’s not benefits from going to a headless guitar to a headed. In fact a luthier, what I’ve discovered is that except for the construction of the guitar, the body has nothing to do with the sound that you will eventually get from a guitar.
November 28, 2011 - 2:50 am
Cool, sound like the first Thrash Metal records! Old school dude!
November 28, 2011 - 3:01 am
What are the benefits in a headless guitar??
