What kind of acoustic guitar should I get?
Ive decided to get guitar lessons, and if you read my other question- ” Is playing the guitar easy? ” then the details and info aren’t really needed. Im 13 years old, about 4’7 and like something light brown. Since im new to this, any suggestions? Im not pro, and I don’t know what im looking for, for specific terms or something. Like “make sure the strings..blah or make sure the neck of the guitar is long.. blah blah. Just suggestions or anything.
thanks.

It’s best to stick with getting a starter pack for beginners. I suggest Ibanez since it has good quality for a not so high price. Or you can just buy an Ibanez acoustic electric for around $200 I heard it’s good for beginners.

if you get a Martin or Washburn, your golden
They make amazing acousics
Id say its easier to learn on electric though, because the action(how close the strings are to the neck) is normally lower, making it easier, if its to high off the neck, its extremely hard.

People say that you should learn on an acoustic (even though its harder to play) because it will make you a better player if you decide to switch to electric (your fingers will already be strong and wont need to work hard).
As for guitars, I agree that martins and washburns are good. gibson would be a good choice too, I have a 39 year old gibson here beside me that still plays nicely
