Learn to Play Guitar Free Funk Guitar Technique Lesson
Hey everybody! In this lesson we’re going to go over some really cool guitar techniques that are predominantly used in the funk guitar style, but, as always, will translate smoothly to other styles as well. This lesson will be geared towards the beginning to intermediate player, but pickers of all ages and skill levels should be able to come away with something from it. In the lesson we’ll discuss chords (including the Hendrix chord), grips, right and left hand techniques, muting, strumming, soloing, scales, and even a little music history as well. What more could you ask for? As an added bonus, we’ll even be setting up to learn a song in an upcoming lesson, “Superstition” as originally by Stevie Wonder and covered by Stevie Ray Vaughan. As any fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers knows, funk music is rockin’ and here to stay! Thanks for stopping by and please feel to COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE to my channel, as new lessons and videos are being uploaded all the time. Enjoy!

I’m tired of all the videos with guys showing us the same tired old E7#9 vamp. I’m glad it helps beginners but it’s a cliche and it’s overused.
