Richie, I know the chord progressions for this song, if you want them. I used another name when I signed in before.

Ritchie, can you tell me the chord progressions of that song? I know most of it is in the 5th position using standard blues patern of notes when improvising. I think you go up to the 8th or 9th position doing the same thing. there are other notes used out of the patern using the E string and the B string. But once again I would like to know the chord progression from that song.

Richie: thanks so much for this. I am a 50 something that started taking guitar lessons a few years ago. Going rather slow, but somewhat steady. This is my alltime favorite solo. A little fast to follow but plan to work hard at it. Memorizing it then getting it up too speed will certainly test my abilities. It will be a considerable challenge. Thanks, Lloyd

Thanks for adding this. I’ve been trying to work it out for ages, and now you’ve made me realise it really is simple and based around the A minor and A minor pentatonic scale.

This is excellent, how do you learn to play like that without reading music, is it just massive amounts of practice ?
